The Globe and Mail wrote an article on telehealth programs in Canada recently and interviewed Dr. Scott Lear. The article highlights the Virtual Heart website run at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, B.C for patients with heart failure who live in outlying areas. With this website it is hoped that the strain on the medical system will be reduced while bringing better patient care to people in remote communities across British Columbia.
