About Us

The BC Alliance on Telehealth Policy and Research (BCATPR) is a multi-disciplinary health services research team funded by the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research, through the Health Services and Policy Research Support Network. The BCATPR is a joint partnership consisting of academic institutions and provincial health authorities committed to provide relevant evidence and capacity building for integration of sustainable telehealth care services into routine health care practices within British Columbia.

Mission

The BC Alliance on Telehealth Policy and Research (BCATPR) will become a national leader in the development and provision of innovative telehealth care services, capacity building, policy development and training aimed at improving patient care, health care efficiencies and health care re-design through sustained healthcare partnerships.
