Telehealth Policy Baseline Study

The telehealth policy sub-study, uses BC as a case study with the individual Health Authorities and PHSA considered as the units of analysis to identify specific inter-jurisdictional telehealth policy issues and documents. Through the use of a literature review, a survey, key informant interviews, and policy document analysis, the study will research potential policy barriers to inter-jurisdictional e-health and highlight policy issues, providing a solid baseline from which to move forward and ease full integration of e-health in the province. Data collection completed in August 2007. This study is funded by the MSFHR.
